Who we are…
Mulberry Mongoose is a jewellery company with heart. We are based in the extraordinary South Luangwa, Zambia. Our workshop is located on a well-trodden elephant path. Here our team of courageous local craftswomen make all our jewellery by hand using natural materials from the Zambian bush. We don’t use the word courageous lightly, our team use physical strength to manipulate poachers’ snare wire into jewellery.
In an area where unemployment and poaching are a reality, every piece of our jewellery reinvests proceeds back into conservation and the lives of our team.
We export globally especially to Australia and the US and we sell online. We also run our Shop Less Ordinary where we welcome international tourists and share our story. Celebrities have enjoyed our work including Supermodel Doutzen Kroes, Whoopi Goldberg and the Clintons.
We are looking for a down to earth, hardworking and organised individual who wants to gain experience with a creative business in a remote environment.
