It has been just over a month since I arrived in the valley. A MONTH! I feel like I have been here for a lot longer. So much has happened; it seems like I can barely remember London life. However, at the same time, I am trying to grasp the idea it has been just a month.

Strong and wily she was a key hunter in the pride until the day she got caught in a snare. Wire tight round her neck she was choked with pain. Thankfully the Zambian Carnivore Programme monitor the lions in the park and it was during a check up on the Luwi pride that they found Manky Ear.
