About Our Shop
We give guests an interactive, joyful, shopping experience that celebrates Zambian culture whilst educating guests about our uniquely positive conservation story. We also host our Jewelry Making Activity and give Group Talks.
We are easy to get to, just a 15-minute drive from the South Luangwa National Park main gate, and close to all leading lodges in the main Mfuwe area. We are based on the only tar road that runs from the South Luangwa National Park Gate to Mfuwe International airport. You can visit us after a morning game drive and brunch or on arrival or departure from the South Luangwa as you pass us enroute to your Safari lodge!

What to Expect
It is said people first visit Zambia for the wildlife but come back time and again because of the warmth of our people. The Mulberry Mongoose team are famous for this hospitality.
We personally greet every guest and give 10 minute complimentary tour of our workshop. We teach you about snare traps and show you how we expertly upcycle them into jewelry. We even let you try making a bead yourself.
We then allow you to browse our extensive jewelry collection and are on hand to answer questions about our work and the community we live in.
It is an interactive activity and you can try our famous Snare Coiling Competition.
You can then explore our award-winning shop which is renowned for an extensive collection of ethical jewelry for men and women.
We host private groups giving a special talk about life in the Luangwa and how our business started. This is followed by a workshop tour, shopping, and our snare coiling competition.

How to include us in your safari holiday
We are easy to include in your safari holiday and we love welcoming you!
We recommend 30-45 minutes for a tour and shopping, however, we can adapt to your needs if you are rushing through.
We are a great activity post morning safari and brunch. You can also visit on arrival or departure from Mfuwe International Airport as you will be passing us enroute!
To get to us you can ask your safari lodge and wonderful guide to incorporate the trip in your itinerary.
